Terms and Conditions
Holcros Cycles is a trading name of Holcros Ltd a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations. This means that shopping with Holcros is safe. Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched, (see Returns for Refund) up to 7 days from receipt.
Postage and Delivery
Our standard despatch is within 2 working days of payment clearing and sent by 48 hour courier service. We can arrange to send by 24 hour courier service at an additional cost of £5.00.
We use either DHL or Royal Mail who will endeavour to deliver in the time-scales stated. However we cannot be held responsible or liable in the event of a delay in delivery.
We ask that when submitting your order you provide us with a contact number which can be used by the courier in the event of difficulties locating you.
We will notify you when to expect delivery; this will be date only and we are unable to provide a specified time. If it is necessary for the courier to attempt delivery on more than one occasion they will leave a card for you to contact them to rearrange delivery. In the event a third delivery attempt is required this cost will be charged directly to you at a cost of £5.00. If delivery is still unsuccessful then the product will be returned to us. Re-delivery to you after this will be charged at the normal rate plus an additional £10.00 for the cost of return to Holcros Cycles.
Pricing
Prices include VAT (Value Added Tax)* at the standard UK rate of 17.50%.
While we do our best to ensure prices are up to date and correct, errors may occur and in this case you will be contacted before your order is shipped. In the event of an error in pricing we reserve the right to alter or adjust any prices before shipment of the goods and you have the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund of monies paid.
Payment
Holcros Cycles accept most major credit cards for online orders. You will be asked to enter your card details and the name and the address of the card holder when you place the order. These details will be checked and we may hold an order until we receive the correct details. You will be contacted if we find the card or address details to be incorrect. We also accept payment by cheque, postal order and bank transfer.
Cheques will be subject to 5 days clearance prior to despatch of goods.
Due to varying Exchange Rates all payments made to Holcros Cycles must be in UK Pounds (£) Sterling.
Credit Card Security
We take online security extremely seriously and have taken several steps to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially and accurately.
Holcros Cycles offer the security & confidentiality built into the SagePay payment system. This system makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us.
Holcros Cycles do not hold or have access to your credit card number keeping your financial records secure and providing you with peace of mind.
Privacy Policy
Holcros Cycles are committed to protecting your privacy. When you make an online order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, credit card billing address, delivery address. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and to notify you about your order status. We will also require a telephone number in case we need to contact you and for international orders this number may be given to our couriers in order to help with the delivery of your goods.
Your information will not be used for any other reason other than processing your order or informing you about the products and services of Holcros Cycles. We will not pass any of your details on to third parties for profit or otherwise.
Product Availability
Holcros Cycles updates the availability of the entire stock list on a regular basis. Items that are 'Out Of Stock' will be displayed as such. In the rare event of a problem with availability of a product marked 'In Stock', we will contact you. You may then wish to cancel the order or wait until the item becomes available.
Accuracy of information
Descriptions and details of the products contained in this site are to the best of our knowledge accurate and correct much of which is taken from manufacturers and distributors own websites and product information. Although we aim for every picture and description to be 100% accurate, mistakes do occur so let us know if you see or read something that isn’t correct. If you have purchased something based on a picture or description on the website which turns out to be incorrect we will be happy to replace or refund the product (unused and with original packaging intact).
Changes
If we decide to change our Terms and Conditions, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.
Site Usage
Holcros Cycles disclaims damages of any kind, compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties implied or otherwise relating to use of this site.

Our Returns Terms and Conditions
Holcros Cycles adheres to the Distance Selling Regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items by Mail Order. We offer a flexible returns policy and are happy to accept items back for:
Exchange:
- Where the product is not compatible with the product it is to be used with.
- You’ve ordered the wrong things
Faulty, Damaged or Broken Goods.
All goods purchased from Holcros Cycles are coved by a full warranty unless otherwise stated. The duration of this warranty is at least 1 year but some manufacturers offer an extended warranty. Warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by abuse, general wear and tear, etc.
If you feel that the product you have purchased from Holcros Cycles has developed a fault then please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs.
If the goods do need to be returned:
- Goods must be clean and free from soiling
- A full description of the fault must accompany the return
- Goods are returned at your expense
New items returned because we have posted you the wrong part
If we send you a part which is different to what is listed on your invoice we will make an exchange and either pay your postage costs (standard class of mailing) for returning the item or arrange collection dependent on the item concerned.
- Goods must be returned within7 days of receipt.
- Goods must be in original packaging.
- Goods must not be fitted or used.
